The fourth single from Taylor Swift’s “1989” will be a remix of “Bad Blood.”
Taylor Swift’s “Style” has only just begun to fade at pop radio, but Republic already has its sights set on her fourth “1989” single.
According to the label’s radio promotions website, focus is about to shift to a remix of album track “Bad Blood.” The song formally impacts pop radio on May 19.
Additional details, including the identities of those involved in the remix, have not yet been revealed.
This past February, Swift personally shot down rumors of a “Bad Blood” remix featuring vocals from Kanye West and production from Ariel Rechtshaid.
It is presently unclear whether Swift was simply trying to preserve the surprise or whether the forthcoming “Bad Blood” remix actually involves different collaborators.
What is clear, however, is that “Bad Blood” is slated as the follow-up to “Style.”
